Description

The Blackmagic Mini Converter Audio to SDI 4K allows for the embedding of 4 channels of analogue audio or 8 channels of AES/EBU digital audio into any SDI video connection. It also has the ability to switch between SD, HD, 3G, and 6G-SDI video inputs and outputs, as well as automatically switching to a redundant SDI input if the main input is lost. The converter can also detect and convert 4K, UHD, 2K, HD, or SD SDI inputs and can be updated and configured via USB 2.0.

In addition, the Blackmagic Mini Converter range features advanced 6G-SDI technology for compatibility with future Ultra HD standards, along with support for embedded SDI and HDMI audio. The compact design and simple operation make it suitable for a variety of professional applications, and it also offers the option for optical fiber conversion with bi-directional 6G-SDI to fiber conversion. The latest firmware update, version 7.1, adds Level A support for the Mini Converter Optical Fiber 4K and improves overall performance and stability for all Mini Converters.
