Canon has announced the development of their newest flagship camera, the EOS R1. This full frame camera is the first of its kind for the EOS R SYSTEM and is designed with high performance in mind. It will feature a newly developed image processor, DIGIC Accelerator, along with DIGIC X and a new sensor, allowing for high speed data processing and improved image quality.

The EOS R1 is being developed to meet the demanding needs of professionals. It will have the ability to persistently track subjects in fast-paced sport scenarios, even when they are temporarily hidden from view. This is made possible by the newly developed Action Priority function, which can detect and focus on the main subject performing a specific action.
