Polecam starter pack plus system uses Carbon Fibre tubes that slot together to create a reach from 1.5m (5’) to 8m (26’). Furthermore, designed around a modular aluminium ‘back-end’, Polecam is readily user friendly.
Polecam Pan and Tilt Head
The Pan and Tilt head is a precision electronic remote-controlled. Pan/Tilt head that fits to the carbon poles creating a simple yet effective Camera Jib.
Furthermore this allows you to shoot from the back of a car, on a boat or the edge of a mountain. Additionally the Polecam System gets into tight spots where a traditional crane would be out of the question.
The Polecam is supplied with a custom made foam that fits straight into a Peli 1770 case.
For this reason Polecam camera Crane System simply adds superb value to any production.
Polecam Long Head
The Long Head is designed to cater for cameras. For example the Canon C300/500, Blackmagic, RED cameras, the AF101 from Panasonic & Sony’s 700.
The Long Head is designed to double as a fixed remote head by simply unscrewing the Polecam drop arm, removing a small plate and attaching it to the top of the head. This reveals an industry standard 3/8” threaded hole. You can mount the inverted head on a clamp, stand and furthermore, a bracket that will then hook up the joystick. Plug in some power, connect the video and away you go.

The Polecam will be in good condition. The Polecam has been used 5 times since it was purchased new in July 2024.
Additionally, the client would prefer prospective buyers to view and collect, although he will arrange a courier if delivery is required.

Starter Pack PLUS with Long Head
The Long Head from Polecam is a versatile remote
controlled pan and tilt unit ideal for cameras like Canon’s
C300/500 and Panasonic’s AF101 – These cameras are
“tall” due to the view fi nder position; is also compatible
with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. The head benefi ts
from very precise electronic speed control delivering a full
360º in anything from 6 seconds to 45 minutes.
All three Heads use a 12 bit PID motion controller via a
closed loop confi guration meaning you get extremely
precise speed control.
A ‘ramping & damping’ profi le is built-in to achieve really
smooth start, acceleration and stop functions.
