Whilst the Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro system is very happy to work without a hub, introduction of the hub does bring a number of extra useful features.

In a choice of 2,4,6 and 8 way configurations Solidcom C1 Pro is pre-programmed for instant out of the box operation, simply switch on and start talking.

Simple Operation

To begin with, the Solidcom C1 Pro significantly improves audio quality compared to traditional walkie talkies, ensuring users remain easily recognisable through loud, clear transmissions. In addition, the built-in mute function allows users to leave and rejoin conversations effortlessly by simply lowering or raising the microphone boom. Meanwhile, for those who prefer a more familiar approach, a traditional “push-to-talk” function is also available via a conveniently placed button on the ear cup.

Unwanted Noise Cancellation

Furthermore, the Solidcom C1 Pro features advanced dual-mic ENC technology, delivering clear sound even in challenging, noisy environments. Specifically, the directional main boom microphone focuses precisely on the speaker’s voice, while, at the same time, the omnidirectional secondary microphone on the ear capsule captures environmental noise from multiple directions. As a result, the system processes these inputs using an advanced ENC algorithm, effectively cancelling unwanted background noise and ensuring crystal-clear audio. In addition, the highly directional boom mic capsule includes physical protection, which helps to virtually eliminate wind noise.

Optional HUB

Moreover, you can further enhance the flexibility of the Solidcom C1 Pro by adding an optional hub. By doing so, you unlock a range of advanced capabilities, including integration with existing 2-wire and 4-wire comms systems, as well as connection to a program feed. Additionally, the hub enables you to divide headsets into two separate user groups. For larger setups, you can also link multiple hubs via a hard-wired Ethernet connection, thereby creating expanded communication systems. Finally, you can power the hub using either a locking mains adapter or a V-lock battery, making it equally suitable for both studio and field use.

Powering

Finally, the Solidcom C1 Pro headsets use compact, lightweight lithium batteries that keep the total headset weight under 170g while still delivering over 5 hours of operation for the master headset and more than 10 hours for remote headsets. When required, you can quickly hot-swap batteries with minimal interruption; moreover, the boom-mounted LED clearly indicates when battery levels are low. To complete the package, each Solidcom C1 Pro kit includes a durable carry case, two batteries per headset, and a high-quality charger, ensuring your system remains ready for use at all times.

Solidcom C1 Pro Hub Station:

The HUB station can be powered by either NP-F batteries, V-Mount or G-Mount batteries or DC power.

Up to three Solidcom C1 HUB bases can be interconnected via a wired port to accommodate expanded communication needs. A one-key “ANNOUNCE” function will mute all headsets allowing the whole crew to hear direct instructions or commands from the HUB base.
