Whilst the Solidcom C1 Pro system is very happy to work without a hub, introduction of the hub does bring a number of extra useful features.
No belt packs, no wires, just great comms.
In a choice of 2,4,6 and 8 way configurations Solidcom C1 Pro is pre-programmed for instant out of the box operation, simply switch on and start talking.
Simple operation
Audio quality is hugely improved over traditional walkie talkies as users are easily recognisable with loud clear transmissions. A built-in mute function allows headsets to leave and join the conversation simply by lowering and raising of the microphone boom whilst a more traditional “push to talk’ operation is available through an ear cup mounted button.
Unwanted noise cancellation
The Solidcom C1 Pro boasts unparalleled dual-mic ENC technology that delivers clear sound even in challenging noisy environments. Its directional main boom mic focuses precisely on the speaker’s voice range, and simultaneously, the omnidirectional secondary mic mounted on the ear capsule collects environmental noise from different directions as noise samples. The sound signal is processed with the advanced ENC algorithm, effectively cancelling the environmental noise and delivering crystal-clear sound quality. The very directional boom mic capsule also features physical protection to virtually eliminate wind noise.
Optional HUB
Whilst the lack of requirement for a hub is a very useful feature of Solidcom C1 Pro an option to introduce a hub into the system is available. Doing so will open a number of additional capabilities including integration of existing 2 and 4 wire comms systems and a program feed plus the ability to divide headsets into two user groups. Larger comms systems can also be created by linking hubs via a hard wired ethernet connection. The optional HUB is powered via a locking mains adapter or a V-lock battery for use in the field.
Powering
Solidcom C1 Pro headsets are powered with small light lithium batteries, helping to keep the total weight of the headset to under 170g, yet providing over 5 hours working time for the master headset and over 10 hours for remote headsets. Hot swapping batteries however is a very simple and quick procedure and a low battery indication is clearly displayed via the boom mounted LED. All Solidcom C1 Pro kits are supplied in a tough carry case complete with 2 batteries for each headset and a quality charger.
Features:
Solidcom C1 Pro Hub Station:
The HUB station can be powered by either NP-F batteries, V-Mount or G-Mount batteries or DC power.
Up to three Solidcom C1 HUB bases can be interconnected via a wired port to accommodate expanded communication needs. A one-key “ANNOUNCE” function will mute all headsets allowing the whole crew to hear direct instructions or commands from the HUB base.
