Sony has released a new power zoom lens, the E PZ 18-110mm F4 G OSS (SELP18110G), with a high zoom ratio of 6.1x. This lens is designed for professional 4K movie production and features Smooth Motion Optics (SMO) to reduce unwanted focus and image shifts while zooming or focusing. It also has advanced operability with three separate focus, iris, and zoom rings, as well as built-in image stabilization and a compact, dust and moisture-resistant design. The lens is compatible with Sony’s α Mount System cameras and can be used with optional converters for an enhanced zoom range.

The SELP18110G 18-110mm lens is the second lens from Sony to feature SMO technology, which minimizes focus breathing, focus shift, and axial shift for optimal movie quality.
